Book your campsite online – from anywhere!

What to expect from online campsite registration.

Guess what? It’s camping time!

Ok, maybe it’s not quite time to actually go camping, but it is time to reserve your campsites for summer 2019.

Seasoned vets have probably been thinking about this since last year—if you’re a “live at the lake” person, you’ve probably already booked your seasonal spot! But if you’re new at this and just want to dip your toe in the water, we’ve got you covered.

When your perfect summer hinges on being first in the queue, SaskTel is here to make sure your connection is fast and reliable.

Planning!

Believe it or not, your return-to-nature camping trip starts on the internet. Before you book, you should familiarize yourself with the Provincial Parks you’re planning to visit at https://saskparks.goingtocamp.com/. You can check out the campsites beforehand, so make note of the site you want to reserve and have a few back up sites just in case.

You’ll also need to set up a new account on the Saskatchewan Provincial Parks website in order to book your campsite online—that goes for experienced campers, too. The website has undergone some changes, so everyone is required to create a new account in 2019.

Short-term camping reservations open as early as April 8, so you should start planning your trip right away.

The website is really easy to navigate on both mobile and desktop, so you can do your research and book your campsite from anywhere—at home, at work, even from your favourite breakfast spot on SaskTel selectWI-FI!

Get your game face on!

There’s no time to sleep in on camping reservation day! Pour yourself a cup of coffee and get started by logging in at login at https://saskparks.goingtocamp.com/. You can login on multiple devices, so cover all your bases by signing in on your laptop, your cell phone, and any other internet-capable device you have. Make sure your notes are close by for reference.

Click “Make a new Reservation” to enter the Campsite Reservation Service queue between 6:40 and 7:00am. Everyone entering the queue is randomly assigned a position in line.

You’ll hang out here for a little while, so you have time to text your camping friends to share the excitement!

When the clock strikes 7, the queue starts to move! You probably won’t get through right away and chances are there will be others ahead of you. Don’t panic (and don’t hit refresh!) – it goes quicker than you think. When it’s your turn, you’ll be automatically redirected to the homepage where you can make your reservation!

When you’ve successfully booked your site, that’s it! If you’re booking multiple camping dates at different Provincial Parks, lucky you. You’ll get to do this all over again in the next few days!

Good luck with your reservations and happy camping!
